Statewide Disability Activities
For a calendar highlighting statewide disability activities, please click the Disability Activities List link to the left.
The Disability Activities List compiled
by SILC is in response to a previous request from SILC Council members and
Partners to have one centralized location for activities that are disability-related.
It is a public document and is the responsibility of any individual, group,
or organization to submit the disability-related activities (meetings, events,
conferences, etc.) they would like listed by the deadline.
The Disability Activities List is emailed out the last Monday of every month.
Deadlines for activity submissions are as follows:
October 25, 2007
November 22, 2007
December 17, 2007
If activities are submitted past these deadlines, they will be listed on
the next month’s calendar (unless the date has passed).
If you would like to submit an activity for the Disability Activities List,
please email tasha@misilc.org with
the following: the date, name of activity, time, location, and contact information
for the activity.
Note: SILC is not responsible for the accuracy of the information provided
by organizations submitting activities to the Disability Activities List.
If you have questions about a particular activity, you may direct your inquiries
to the contact person/number provided (it might be useful to confirm the
time, date, location, and agenda with the organization listed, as changes
may have occurred since the development of this list). Other than activities
noted in blue, SILC does not sanction the events listed on this calendar.
Although we are trying to provide an accurate disability activities list,
realize that this calendar is not a comprehensive statewide list.
