Health

People with disabilities have higher rates of mental illness and chronic physical illness than the general population. Access to competent and compassionate care is crucial to long-term wellness. If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

Education

Children with disabilities deserve the same educational opportunities as their non-disabled peers, but too often, services and support are inadequate. Adults also must have the chance to train for meaningful work in careers of their choice.
